Karla Dennehy has been a broker in two states, Texas and New York. Starting her career in 1980, her experience in Texas included selling and managing properties for expatriates’ overseas and foreign nationals, third party relocations companies; bank owned properties as well as traditional real estate sales.

After transferring to New York in 1988, Karla was the hired by Prudential Long Island Realty as a third party co-coordinator. Soon after she was promoted to Relocation Director and remained there marketing and managing homes for such companies as Prudential Relocation, Dupont Relocation, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Citibank, as well as supervising the assistance of transferees moving in and out of Long Island.

Karla currently manages the Sayville Office of Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate located on the Great South Bay of Long Island. Her leadership has tripled the amount of business in the Sayville Office. Karla prides herself in having developed a team of very professional, dynamic agents that generated over $82 million in sales volume in 2004.
