Westhampton is a hamlet in Suffolk County, New York, located in the Town of Southampton.

The Village of Westhampton Beach is located on the scenic south shore of Long Island, in the eastern end of Suffolk County approximately 78 miles from midtown Manhattan. Considered by many to be the “First Hampton,” it is residential in character with a large seasonal population. Most residences are single family homes, although there are several large cooperative and condominium complexes located within the Village. Commercial development is concentrated in the central business district.
