Benjamin Franklin once remarked that “Energy and persistence conquer all things.” While he obviously didn’t know Joyce Bernstein, he could have been talking about her.
In an industry filled with people with energy and persistence, Joyce is known as much for her “anything it takes” work ethic as she is for her industry knowledge, attention to detail, integrity and limitless patience.
Joyce is a hard working broker. “I never stop working on behalf of my clients,” says Joyce. “For example, I once represented a couple who had very specific needs and insisted on a very particular kind of apartment.” After searching all over the Upper East Side, “We finally found ‘the right place,’” remembers Bernstein. However, during the negotiation process, there were many challenges that threatened the transaction.
Not one to give up, Bernstein played a pivotal role in keeping the deal together. “I stuck with it, literally day and night, working with my client, placating the seller and his team – even the managing agent! -- while bringing the transaction to a satisfactory conclusion for all concerned.” Today, her buyer-clients happily resides in the home of their dreams.
